Surely, it took a LOT, to get me back at this; I used to be one of most addicted of bloggers and … one day, without notice, nah … the slipping away into near-oblivion wasn’t in the least, intentional. 

I’ll take up the reasons for my absense from Blogosphere, as I go along in my future posts. Ofcourse, to say my mind, it was a rollercoaster ride for me, if you take them in, all at once.

If you were waiting, thank you. If didn’t notice that I was away, I missed you, anyway. Lie.

There has been a lot going on in my mind lately, and I have been running this thought in head for sometime: when was the last time I posted something which was a real blog post (not just on this blog, for that matter) rather than something put together for the sake of it or something like a billboard that publicizes, “I’ve no time for this, better read what I clumsily collate as excuses for a job that requires some thought and may define some afterthought”.

I’m very easily distracted. By many things. I multitask, without consciously realizing that there are things that if prioritized would be labeled in Red, and go about doing the lesser things.

I will have to write again. Soon.

If you have been here at The Cerebral before, you will notice that the first post is missing. No, I didn’t take it out. It was the result of yours truly, trying freshen up the plugins on base with new ones: I accidentally deleted the wp-includes directory.

I had to install Wordpress again. I learnt my lesson. I did not even have a database backup.

Lesson 1: Keep Backups from time to time.

Sometimes, when I set out to do things, I get so overwhelmed about the act of doing it than how it should be done. I do it in my own way, and as it should happen from inexperience, I mess things up.

Lesson 2: Know what you are doing.

What should have been my first blog post is floating out there: somewhere between oblivion and no-man’s land. So, I will have to make do with this one. There can only be one first post, ah …

Lesson 3: There can only be one first post.

That’s three, for the number of lessons… and, until I’m back, it’s adieu.
